THE LAND OF BOOKS

Every day my eyes see words on a page
But my mind sees magic and mystery
Every night my body is in my living room
But my mind is in an enchanged land with excitement and magic
Every day I walk up and down the street
I see the same things
At the same places
But when I pick up a book I am somewhere I have never been

Some short verses

I really love horses
I love to ride them on courses

I was very happy when I found a pickel
I was even happier when I found a nickel

I love my dog but he has fleas
And every time I go near him I sneeze

Big Mr. Tibbits lost his rabbits
he had no idea where to find them
they came back home and he went to roam
leaving his rabbits behind him
